More About Storm Shadow and GI Joe

The GI Joe (GI stands for General Infantry) was developed by Hasbro in 1964 as a line of American hero action figures based on the 4 branches of the US Armed forces (Amy, Navy, Air Force, and Marines).

Over the years GI Joe has developed some key characters, Storm Shadow being one of them. Storm Shadow is most known for his relationship with fellow GI Joe Snake Eyes. With the success of the movie G.I Joe, it would be just right to give justice to its characters by knowing them a little bit more. And among the many distinct characters in the movie, one character has sparked the curiosity of many and that is no other than Storm Shadow.

Storm Shadow is one of G.I Joe’s fictional characters who fought alongside the Cobra Commander. He has been the bodyguard of the Cobra Commander and sometimes serves as an assassin. He has had a long history with Snake Eyes, rooting back in their younger years, where he caught Snake Eyes trying to steal food. To Storm Shadow’s dismay, instead of Snake Eyes being punished, he was welcomed warmly into the Dojo. From there, their rivalry had begun and when Snake Eyes was announced to be the best student, this infuriated Storm Shadow which led to him killing the dojo master and fleeing the Dojo. From that incident, it marked the start of his their bitter rivalry with Snake Eyes and his assassin life.

To many, Storm Shadow may be seen as a villain in the movie but despite that negative image, many people still love him. That is why it is no surprise that many people are trying to dig deep into his history to satisfy their curiosity of this mysterious and skilled G.I Joe character.
